GBM DATES LUKASHYA TRADITIONAL LEADERS

(ZANIS) Chieftainess CHANDA MUKULU of Kasama has called on citizens to promote peace and unity during and after the August 12, general Election.

And the traditional leader says her Chiefdom has benefited a lot from the development projects the PF under President EDGAR LUNGU has delivered in the country.

She says no past governments can match the development the PF has delivered in the area.

Chieftainess CHANDA MUKULU was speaking when PF- Northern Province Campaign Manager GEOFFREY MWAMBA introduced various PF candidates in the general election to traditional leaders in Lukashya constituency – Kasama district.

AND Mr. MWAMBA appealed to traditional leaders to explain to their subjects the developmental projects that the PF has delivered in their localities.

Mr. MWAMBA said traditional leaders are good partners in development and can help to enlighten their subjects on several things that government has delivered.

He explained that this can help their subjects to make right decisions when voting.

Meanwhile, Mr. MWAMBA noted that this year’s campaigns are different because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

He has since appealed to his campaign team to follow the Covid-19 guidelines given by the Ministry of Health and the Electoral Commission of Zambia.
