Futsal Team off to Morocco for AFCON

The Zambia Futsal National Team has left for Morocco ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations.

The tournament is scheduled for April 11 to 21st April 2024.

Zambia Futsal National Team Head Coach ANDREA CRISTOFORETTI says his team is in Morocco to win.

However, CRISTOFORETTI adds that the tournament will further help expose his side.

Zambia will play their first game against Ghana on April 11th, 2024 and then play Angola two days later.

Zambia will complete their group matches with Morocco on 15th April, 2024.

The top two teams of each group will advance to the semi finals.

The top three teams of the tournament will qualify for the 2024 FIFA Futsal World Cup in Uzbekistan as the CAF representatives from 14th September to 6th October, 2024.
