FORMER CHIPOLOPOLO SHOT STOPPER DIES

Former Chipolopolo and Nkana Football Club Goalkeeper Moses Mapulanga has died.

Mapulanga who was admitted to Mazabuka General Hospital from Monday this week died at 23:00 hours last night.

Father of the deceased, Event Mapulanga has confirmed the death to Nkana Football Club Secretariat.

Mapulanga at his career premium rose from the junior ranks to the Zambia National Team and was part of the Chipolopolo squad at the 2018 African Nations Championship -CHAN- in Morocco.

He was last in goal for Club NKANA in 2021 before his departure in December last year.

And various Football Clubs have joined the 13 time Super league champions in mourning their ex-short stopper.

Among the teams that have poured out their condolences are city mates and archrivals Power Dynamos.

Other prominent teams are Ndola giants ZESCO UNITED, Green Eagles, ZANACO and NKWAZI Football Clubs among the many sympathizers.
