Financial Player Happy With Measures Aimed At Enhancing Tax Compliance

Financial Analyst Mambo Hamaundu has commended finance minister Bwalya Ng’andu for putting in place administration measures to ensure there is compliance to value added tax-VAT.
On Friday last week during the 2020 national budget presentation, Dr Ng’andu announced that government has decided to maintain the value added tax which was supposed to be replace with the sales tax further indicating that government will address compliance and administrative challenges associated with vat.
And commenting on the development, Mr Hamaundu is of the view that the measures that will enhance self-policing of vat especially in areas where it was a challenge.
