FDD, UPND Councilors Resign In Kasama To Join PF

Patriotic Front-PF youths in Kasama say the defection of two Councilors from the opposition Forum for Democracy and Development-FDD, and United Party for National Development-UPND in Lukashya Constituency is an indication that the people are being inspired by President Edgar Lungu’s leadership.

The youths led by their Kasama District secretary, Aaron Zimba say the current defections are a sign that the PF is a progressive party.
The two are Michael Chama the FDD Councilor for Musoba ward and UPND’s Michael Mutale, Councilor for Chumba ward in Lukashya constituency.

Mr Chama says he has decided to join the PF because he wants to enhance development in the area.

And Mr Mutale says he cannot continue to work with the UPND because they are allegedly detached from the people in the area.
