Going into this match, Coaches from Either side had predicted a tough game as 3 points were at Stake.

It was a game of two halves with both teams creating a number of scoring opportunities but to no avail.

Eagles backline led by Trustina Kasiya partnering with Rosemary Cheelo at the heart of the defense were very good fighting for balls alongside Docus Seya and Debora Chengo on the right and left-back respectively making it difficult for the Coach Mervis Nachinga charges to penetrate and find the back of the net.

Melissa Mataba, Thelma Munkombwe, and Catherine Ng’ambi were a threat in the Eagles area but lost it in the final third.

The trio tried their best for the home team but Eagles should be thankful to Fuma Chulu for her steadiness and quick reaction in goal as she denied Yasa some potential goals but she was equal to the task as she produced excellent saves throughout the game.

On the other hand, Eagles equally had their own share of chances and were very good in the Midfield winning most balls through their anchorwoman Tamara Mbewe alongside Sharon Nampemba at the expense of Tamara Chibamba and Susan Mwansa for Yasa.

But Coming up against an Organised Yasa defense Captained by Rhoda Nakanyika on the right-back, Strong Patricia Lampi And The Touring Limited Mulenga together with Harriet Matipa on the left-back was always going to give a tough time to the Eagles side.

Amira Njobvu was lively on the left wing but Esther ‘Fwayo’ Mwale and Racheal Moono were a bit lackluster in front of Goal missing some great opportunities for Eagles who hit the post twice to deny the coach Kayombo drilled side to victory as Beauty Mushabene was always Alert in goal for Yasa.

At the end of 90+ minutes, it was a disappointing result for both teams.
