Nkana Queens Vs Indeni Roses

Time : 09.00hrs

Well with a new season almost here, some Copperbelt teams have intensified their training by hosting pre-season friendly matches with the likes of Zesco Girls being one of the clubs to have had some game time and recently defeated Kabwe Based Queens Academy 7-2 before being held to 1-all draw at home to Red Arrows who traveled all the way from Lusaka to the Trade Fair Grounds In Ndola in a Preparatory match.

This time around its another big one as Aba Red Aka Nkana Queens Red Devils will be locking Horns with their nemesis Indeni Roses in a fierce friendly match where a lot is expected considering the fact that at the just ended Copperbelt Region FAZ League

The Wusakile Queens under the Hospices of Coach Lucky as well as Sarah Daka will be counting on the services of the Club’s Top Goal Scorer Eneles Phiri to win it for them.


Phiri who is excellent on the ball has promised to score at least 2 goals for her team.

Another player to Look out for is Dorothy Daka who as an Eye for Goal and the likes of Mary should be Alert in goal for Indeni.


Esnart Chanda is expected to rise to the occasion alongside Denise Zulu, Luwi Miyoyo and Joyce Mambwe in the midfield.


Providing cover at the back will be led by Captain of the side Prisca Musonda, Janet Musonda, Gift Kabwe, and Yvonne Nakazwe to make sure that Judith Nkole is well covered in goal.

On the other hand, from a Convincing Victory against Queens Academy away in Kabwe, Indeni Rose’s will look to continue their Dorminance over The Red Queens,


Notable Players to look out for from Indeni will be the likes of Theresa Chewe who scored a Brace against Queens Academy recently, Veteran Noria Sosala, Zambia Women’s Midfielder Rhoda Chileshe and also Onga Esther Namukwasa who’s a force to be reckoned with for the Oilo Girls as well as Mwaka Mupeta is expected to rise to the occasion in tomorrow’s match.

Also Jackline Nkole together with Skipper of the side Grace Zulu will lead the defensive line in ensuring Enelesi and Dorothy are kept at bay.


Catherine Musonda is likely to be between the sticks and would hope to keep a clean sheet.

The previous meeting between these two sides went in Favour of The Roses both home and away in the 2019 Copperbelt Region Women’s League stamping authority with a resounding 13-Nil and 5-Nil Victories Respectively.
