FAZ Mourns Pele

FAZ President, ANDREW KAMANGA says the world has lost arguably the greaterst ambassador of football in the death of Brazilian legend, PELE.

PELE, who real names are EDSON ARANTES DO NASCIMENTO, died aged 82, after battling with cancer.

KAMANGA says PELE was a perfect ambassador on and off the pitch, whose example can inspire serving and retired footballers.

In a statement issued to ZNBC sports in Lusaka today, KAMANGA has said PELE’s legacy therefore transcends national and sporting boundaries.
