Fashion set to miss the upcoming friendly matches

Fashion Sakala will miss Chipolopolo Boys’ upcoming two international friendly matches, The ZamFoot Crew understands.

This comes after the FC Rangers forward tested positive for Covid-19 and is expected to be in isolation for 7 days.

The former Zanaco man becomes the latest foreign based player set to miss the match. The other players who will be unavailable are Patson Daka, Edward Chilufya, Rally Bwalya and Augustine Mulenga.

Edward Chilufya has not been released by his Danish side FC Midtjylland for international duty 24 hours after playing in his side’s 0-0 draw to Fredericia.

The Leicester City forward on the other hand will be unavailable due to a family commitment.

Meanwhile, Mulenga is out injured after limping off in Amazulu’s CAF Champions League match on Friday that his side lost 2-0.

Rally Bwalya will miss the two international friendly matches following logistical challenges as his club is still away in West Africa where they were on duty in the CAF Confederation Cup against Asec Mimosas who beat them 3-0.

Chipolopolo coach Aljosa Asanovic has 23 players for this week’s trip to Turkey that will feature in two international friendly matches starting with Congo Brazzaville on Friday March 25.
