September 5, 2019September 5, 20195By Chansa Kunda-A 90th minute  cracker by Fashion Sakala gave Zambia a 2-1 victory over Congo Brazzaville in the First leg of the 2019 Under 23 AFCON Final round qualifier played at the National heores stadium.It was a second for the Belgium based player who scored the opener for the junior Chipolopolo as early as the seventh minute to send fans led by Republican President Edgar Lungu into frenzy.The Brace by Sakala who was also Zambia’s hero in both legs against Malawi in the second round of the qualifiers gave the team an advantage heading into the second leg on Sunday.Congo Brazzville levelled for the visiting side in the first minute of the second half through Temopele Jacques  who was later substituted .Coach Beston Chambeshi  says the 2-1 victory is a relief ahead of Sunday’s crucial return leg encounter.Chambeshi  says the team played exceptionally well in the First half but lost concentration in the second half.He has since urged his players to fight tooth and nail when they face Congo Brazzville in the return leg.His Congo Brazzville counterpart Coach Jean Ngoya said his players will be very cautious of Zambia in the return leg .Ngoya praised his charges for playing a better and more solid game in the second half.Ngoya said Congo will not undermine Zambia beacuse they can strike when list expected.Zambia’s Game Winner Fashion Sakala says the team will not lose track in Sunday’s game .Winner after the match in Brazzville on  Sunday will qualify to the Under -23 Afcon to be held in Egypt from the 8th to the 22nd of November 2019 where top three teams qualify to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
