Fashion Sakala Jnr on target in Rangers big win

Zambian forward Fashion Sakala came from the bench to score a goal as FC Rangers thrashed HEART OF MIDLOTHIAN at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday afternoon.

Rangers came from a disappointing derby defeat at the hands of Celtic in midweek and where desperate for maximum points.

Rangers Boss Giovanni Bronckhorst made four changes to his side as Leon Balogun, John Lundstram, Ryan Jack and Alfredo Morelos all came into the XI in place of Borna Barisic, Glen Kamara, Amad and Kemar Roofe.

Fashion Sakala maintained his place on the substitutes bench.

Rangers started strong and were 1-0 up in the eleventh minute, Alfredo Morelos netting his 14th goal of the season.

The Colombian was against it in the 64th minute as he curled a beautiful finish beyond Gordon and into the top-left corner of the net, 2-0 in favor of the hosts.

Morelos then turned provider as substitute Glen Kamara made it 3-0 in the 72nd minute. Scott Arfield netted a fourth three minutes later.

Gio then introduced Fashion Sakala Jnr and Aaron Ramsey immediately after the goal for Arfield and Joe Aribo.

Sakala needed only eight minutes to score his seventh Rangers goal, finishing off a Ryan Kent cut back.

5-0 the match finished, Next up for Rangers is Hibernian at Ibrox on Wednesday.
