By Moombe Hamobola

Some soccer fans in Livingstone have congratulated the copper queens for emerging victorious against Morocco in a 2024 Paris Olympics qualifier game played last evening.

The fans have told ZNBC news that they are excited with the performance of the female national team and that they are hopeful the team will do well at the Olympics.

INNOCENT CHIKUNI said he is happy with the performance of the copper queens and the technical bench.

CHIKUNI is hopeful the players will do better at the Olympics than they did at the FIFA Women’s World in Australia last year.

And NKOLE CHOTA another soccer fan is optimistic that the team will perform well at the Olympics because they are highly motivated and spirited compared to when they went to the World Cup last year.

Meanwhile, GIVEN MUDENDA has come to the defence of the Copper Queens Coach BRUCE MWAPE whom he describes as a very good coach.

MUDENDA said the coach has broken records that no other coach for the female team has in Zambia and that he should be given time to take the Copper Queens to greater heights.
