ENCOURAGE MORE WOMEN- GETRUDE IMENDA

United Party for National Development -UPND- Deputy Secretary General Getrude Imenda has advised party structures countrywide to encourage more women to participate in leadership positions at provincial and district levels.

Ms. Imenda is disappointment with the low number of women in leadership positions and is urging the party to consider adopting more women when the opportunity arises.

She was speaking during a meeting with Lusaka Province UPND party officials held at Fairview Hotel in Lusaka today.

And Lusaka Province Minister Sheal Mulyata urged UPND members to work as a team in order to help the republican President bring the much needed development to the country.
