Copperbelt Minister ELISHA MATAMBO has challenged farmers to embrace technology in farming to ensure increased production.

Mr. MATAMBO says the agriculture sector remains critical to the country’s economic development.

He was speaking during the official opening of the 2022 Copperbelt Provincial Agriculture Show that is being held under the theme: “Innovation through technology – technology transforms business.

Meanwhile, Copperbelt Provincial Agriculture Show Society Chairperson JOSEPH MBITA has appealed to government to consider increasing the number of beneficiaries under the Farmer Input Support Programme -FISP.
