Elite Ladies, Zanaco and YASA Queens record wins

Elite Ladies and Zanaco returned to winning ways while YASA Queens have continued their good start to the campaign. 

The 2022/2023 FAZ Women’s Super Division entered week 3 of action over the weekend with seven matches taking place.

Ten-Woman Elite Ladies came from a goal down to edge Mufulira Wanderers Queens in a five goal thriller. 

Xiomara Mapepa leveled matters for the Elite Ladies before being sent off. Towera Nkhata and Comfort Selemani scored the other goals while Mapalo Kapindula and Mary Njobvu scored for the hosts. 

At Sunset Stadium, Anna Zulu’s lone goal was enough as Sensational Zanaco Ladies beat Prison Leopards Queens 1-0.

At Margaret Mwanakatwe ground, Bauleni United Sports Academy (BUSA) Queens’ search for a first win of the season as they succumbed to a 2-1 loss at the hands of Police Dove Queens. 

Elizabeth Chishimba scored the only goal of the game as YASA Queens edged Green Eagles to make it three wins in a row. 

Indeni Roses held Red Arrows Women to a goalless draw same as ZISD Women who were held to a goalless draw against National Assembly.
