Super League side Nkana are likely to cash in big on striker Walter Bwalya Binene in what is expected to be a Zambian Super league transfer record for a player leaving the local league the ZamFoot Crew can reveal.

The 2016 Zambia Superleague top goalscorer will join the El Gouna FC in the Egyptian Superleague. The club is set to announce the capture of the Congolese forward in the next few hours.

El Gouna is owned by Egyptian Billionaire family Sawiris. Sawiris family also owns FC Luzern in Switzerland premier league and recently acquired Aston Villa FC which was promoted to the English premier league last season.

His agent Paricha Chikoye confirmed the move and revealed that the striker had several offers but they settled for the Egyptian club.

When asked about the transfer fee, His agent declined to comment on transfer figures.

“We had over several offers for Walter but El Gouna was the best stepping stone to top-flight Football for him,” he said.

“Nkana is the biggest club in Zambia and they are happy, El Gouna is happy and Walter is happy.”

However, speculation coming from media in Egypt as monitored by the ZamFoot Crew the deal could be worth roughly around 650,000 USD which would be a record deal for a player leaving the Zambian super league.

Walter who has been in Egypt for close to a week now started training with El Gouna yesterday.
