Eight provinces receive FISP

More than 120 thousand metric tonnes of fertiliser has been distributed to eight provinces in readiness for the 2023/2024 farming season.

Ministry of Information and Media Director Spokesperson HENRY KAPATA says united capital fertiliser has so far distributed over 77 thousand metric tonnes to eastern, southern , northern and western provinces.

Mr KAPATA further says Nitrogen Chemicals of Zambia has distributed more than 43 thousand metric tonnes to the Copperbelt, Muchinga , Luapula and North western provinces.

Mr KAPATA said this in an interview with ZNBC in Lusaka.
