ECL DECLARES 12th , 13th AUGUST, NON -WORKING DAYS

President Edgar Lungu has declared Thursday, 12th and Friday, 13th August 2021 as non-working days.

This is to allow a smooth completion of the electoral process.

In a statement issued to ZNBC News, Secretary to Cabinet Simon Miti says all institutions that provide essential services should ensure that they put measures in place to avoid disruption of services during the holiday period.

Dr. Miti has since appealed to all eligible voters to turn up in numbers on 12th August and exercise their right to vote.

He further said members of the public are urged to observe the COVID-19 guidelines to prevent the spread of the pandemic.
