Eagles soar on Good Friday as Fole Malembe mount pressure at the top

Green Eagles dislodged Buildcon at the summit of the MTN Super League Stream A log on Good Friday thanks to a Tapson Kaseba second half goal.

And in a lunch time kick, Forest Rangers moved  third on the log after  a 3-2 win over struggling Circuit City.

In the top of the table clash, Aggrey Chiyangi’s side collected maximum points over Srdjan Zivojnov’s side featuring teenage sensation duo Klings Kangwa and Lameck Banda.

Ngosa Sunzu started on the bench for Buildcon  while his  older brother Boniface marshalled the Choma based side’s defence.

Eagles are a point above the big spenders on 24 points.

From 12 games played, Buildcon have won 7 games and drawn twice while this was their third defeat.

Should Eagles sustain this form, then Chiyangi will be hoping for his talisman Kaseba to continue is rich vein of form.

Kaseba, who started the season with a short stint at South African side Free State Stars is back to form as he has grabbed four goals in as many games. He was the leading Zambian on the top scorers chart with 18 goals.

The Sunzu brothers, Boniface and Ngosa. Felix and Stopilla Sunzu are the other brothers
