Drugs situation to improve in all health facilities, Masebo says

Martha Banda-Health Minister SYLVIA MASEBO says government will in the coming weeks improve the availability of drugs in health facilities countrywide.

Ms. MASEBO says this is because government through the Zambia Medicine and Medical Supplies Agency -ZAMMSA has embarked on the procurement of drugs for Hospitals.

The Minister says there will be a steady Supply of drugs once the procurement process is complete.

Ms. MASEBO said this when she toured the University Teaching Hospital- UTH.

She also directed UTH Management to ensure they beef up departments that are currently understaffed.
