Dr. CHILUFYA NODS ZAMTEL PARTNERSHIP

 
Health Minister Chitalu Chilufya says the partnership between Zamtel and his Ministry has positively impacted on the health sector in the country.
Dr. Chilufya says it is gratifying that the corporate world is appreciating that health is not only a social issue but an economic issue as well.
The Minister says the provision of health services is not the duty of government alone but a duty for every Zambian who believes in strengthened health systems.
Dr Chilufya was speaking in Mansa when Zamtel donated equipment and assorted medical items worth 60 thousand kwacha to Mansa General Hospital.
He later commissioned the network mast at Mansa School for Continuing Education where he said the provision of reliable network by Zamtel will help ease the dissemination of health-related information.
And Zamtel Chief Executive Officer Sydney Mupeta said ZAMTEL will continue to work with the Ministry of Health in taking health services to the people.
Meanwhile, Mansa Mayor Emmanuel Chungu thanked government and Zamtel for the gesture to the people of Mansa.
