By Hector Simfukwe

Democratic Party -DP- President HARRY KALABA has demanded 20,000,000 United States dollar in damages from Party Vice President JUDITH KABEMBA and JUSTINE NKONGE.

Mr. KALABA says this is for the damage suffered as a result of the alleged defamatory statements which were issued by Ms KABEMBA and Mr. NKONGE.

He says the damage is for the mental stress and inconvenience suffered among others.

Mr. KALABA says as a result of this he has been unable to get resources to mobilize the party.

He says he has over the years tried to live a life of integrity and honesty.

Mr. KALABA has also asked the court to stop Ms KABEMBA and other from defaming him further.

This is in a matter in which KABEMBA and NKONGE have sued KALABA and sought an injunction to stop him from holding himself as DP President.
