“DON’T ABUSE YOUR AUTHORITY”

North Western Province Permanent Secretary Colonel GRANDSON KATAMBI has called administrative officers in public institutions not to abuse their authority.

Colonel KATAMBI noted that most administrative officers abuse their offices and neglect service delivery to members of the public.

Speaking when officers from the Public Protectors’ office paid a Courtesy call on him in Solwezi, Colonel KATAMBI urged the office of the Public Protector to resolve cases that are pending in the province.

Colonel KATAMBI said the province has numerous cases of abuse of authority that have not been resolved in the public sector and require attention from the authorities.

And Office of the Public Protector Chief Investigations BWALYA SIULANDA said the office is in the province to hear complaints from various state institutions.

Ms. SIULANDA has called on public office bearers to uphold their professional duties and ensure that service delivery is not affected.
