Djurgardens pair to miss World Cup qualifier

Swedish based duo Emmanuel Banda and Edward Chilufya have been ruled out of tomorrow’s FIFA 2022 World Cup qualifier against Equatorial Guinea, the ZamFoot Crew can exclusively reveal.

The Djurgardens players have faced visa hitches

The duo former under-20 stars were expected to fly straight into Malabo but we’re denied entry visas.

Their failure to connect to Equatorial Guinea will be a blow to Chipolopolo Boys coach Beston Chambeshi who has already lost skipper Enock Mwepu through injury.

Meanwhile the Chipolopolo Boys are expected to take an hour long flight from Cameroon to Malabo this afternoon.

The chartered plane from Lusaka has already left for Douala were it will be pick up the team and fly into Malabo.

Zambia play Equatorial Guinea on Matchday 3 on Thursday with kickoff at 6pm
