FIFA and CAF Referee DIANA CHIKOTESHA has arrived back home from Ivory Coast to a thunderous welcome.

CHIKOTESHA was welcomed by scores of people from all walks of life at Kenneth Kaunda International airport.

Speaking upon arrival, CHIKOTESHA, who is also a lecturer at Rockview University, said officiating at the AFCON final was a dream come true.

And Rockview University Marketing and Corporate Affairs Manager, WESLEY MUNANSANGU said CHIKOTESHA’s exploits will be key in motivating students at the institution to work hard.

And Football Association of Zambia -FAZ -President, ANDREW KAMANGA has commended CHIKOTESHA for making the country proud.

CHIKOTESHA made history on Sunday evening as she officiated in the AFCON final that saw Ivory Coast crowned champions after a 2-1 win over Nigeria.
