Deputy Army Commander Visits old school

Deputy Army Commander and Chief of Staff, Major General GEOFFREY ZYEELE has urged pupils at Mujala his former school, in Livingstone, Southern Province to work extra hard to achieve their aspirations.

Speaking when he visited the school, Major General ZYEELE urged pupils from his former class to take a leaf from his hard work and discipline.

Major General ZYEELE, who was accompanied by Senior Officers from Army headquarters has since pledged to paint both the interior and exterior part of the school and also to award the best pupil with a total sum of 1,000 Kwacha per term.

He said his desire is to see more pupils his school perform above expectation and take up leadership roles which will contribute positively to national development.

Major General ZYEELE was in Livingstone to check on the preparations ahead of the Africa Land Forces Summit 2024, slated for 22 – 26 April, 2024.

And Mujala School Headteacher, YORAM MUMBA has praised the Deputy Army Commander and Chief of Staff for recognizing and appreciating the school that contributed to his success.
