Decongest Prisons-NGO

By Musenge Mulimba-A Non Governmental Organisation has welcomed government’s plans to decongest correctional facilities in the country.All Nations Are Families Organisation says the plans must be implemented because most of the Correctional facilities are over crowded.Organisation Director of Finance Emmanuel Kangwa has told ZNBC in Kitwe that the NGO hopes that government will consider building more correctional facilities as part of the plans to decongest the existing ones.Mr Kangwa also urged government to consider training inmates in financial literacy and management.He said his organisation is willing to partner with government to ensure the inmates are well trained in management and financial skills to help them lead better lives when they leave the correctional facilities.
