Daka can’t stop scoring in Europa League as Foxes take control of first leg

Chipolopolo striker Patson Daka scored in the first leg of the Europa Cup against Randers to continue his goal scoring spree in the competition.

The 24 year old scored the third goal as Leicester City thrashed Dannish side Rangers 4-1 at home.

Daka poked in after a fine run and saved shot from Youri Tielemans to score his 6th goal in Europe in the 54th minute to make 3-1.

The Kafue native could have scored his second of the night after unleashed another shot that was well-struck but saved by the visitors’ keeper.

Daka hits four goals past Spartak Moscow in October 2021 before getting his fifth a month later against Legia Warsaw of Poland.

He has six Europa League goals in 7 appearances, taking his tally to 10 goals, and is joint top scorer alongside Karl Toko Ekambi of Lyon and Sporting Braga’s Galeno.
