Czech Republic donates specialised mobile clinic

The Czech Republic has donated a specialised mobile clinic worth US$85,000 to Zambia meant for expectant mothers and newborn babies.

The donation has been made to the University Teaching Hospital -UTH- Women and Newborn Hospital.

Health Minister SYLVIA MASEBO who received the donation said the mobile specialised clinic will go a long way in improving the health of babies who are born prematurely and those with complications.

Ms. MASEBO said the donation by the Czech Republic reflects the strong ties between the two countries.

Speaking at the same event, Czech Ambassador to Zambia PAVEL PROCHAZKA said the Ambulance will serve its purpose for a long time because it is of high quality.
