By Masauso Mkwayaya

Bongo Hive says the recent reduction of license fees for courier services will allow businesses to pass the benefit to consumers.

Bongo Hive Director Innovation and Entrepreneurship SIMUNZA MUYANGANA says reducing regulatory fees will also allow other Small and Medium Enterprises to enter the market.

He said this in an interview with ZNBC News in Lusaka .

Mr. MUYANGANA says Government has created a conducive environment for businesses and should continue to consider other measures such as single licensing and regulatory fees.

He says Government should also put in place infrastructure such as roads ,cell phone and Internet connectivity especially in rural areas so that courier services can penetrate and benefit the people.

Mr. MUYANGANA says couriers have become an important service needed in many sectors.

Government recently reduced license fees for courier business from all ten provinces from 15,000 to 10,000 Kwacha while fees for companies operating in one Province have been reduced to 5,000 Kwacha from 10,000 Kwacha.
