Copper Queens Eye Bronze Consolation

Bernard Nkweto-The Zambia Women’s National Football Team will this evening seek to win Bronze at the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations when they take on Nigeria.

Zambia will take on the Super Falcons in their last game of the tournament in the 3rd and 4th playoff decider at 22:00 hrs.

The Copper Queens who suffered a ONE nil defeat against South Africa in the Semi Finals will look to finish the tournament on a high with a win against the eight time WAFCON winners.

The Shepolopolo will face a side that has similar intentions of finishing third overall.

Nigeria suffered to a 5-4 defeat against Morocco following 1 all draw after Extra Time, a game in which they were shown two Red Cards.

The Copper Queens will once again look to the services of star player and Captain GRACE CHANDA who is expected to lead the charges.

First Choice goal keeper HAZEL NALI who missed the game against South Africa is expected to return in goal for the Southern African giants.

Meanwhile, the Final of the tournament will be played tomorrow Saturday, as four times Finalists South Africa take on host nation Morocco.
