Copper Bullets, Bafana Bafana clash rescheduled as Chipolopolo date Namibia

The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has rescheduled the International friendly match against South Africa which was slated for the National Heroes Stadium this Saturday.

FAZ General Secretary Adrian Kashala confirmed the development in a statement made available to the ZamFoot Crew. Kashala said the decision was reached in consultation with the Football Association of Zambia.

“The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) wishes to inform members of the public that the international friendly match between Zambia and South Africa that was scheduled for National Heroes Stadium on Saturday, September 7, 2019, has been rescheduled.

FAZ General Secretary Adrian Kashala made the announcement in a statement saying that the decision was arrived at in consultation with the South African Football Association (SAFA).”

Zambia was scheduled to play South Africa on Saturday at National Heroes Stadium in an international friendly match but it has since been moved to the next FIFA window.

The Copper Bullets will instead play Namibia on September 9, 2019, in Windhoek. Chipolopolo is expected to leave for Namibia on Saturday.
