Construction of a modern stadium in Mazabuka has commenced

Construction works of an Ultra-modern Stadium at Mazabuka Show Grounds by MUZA management has commenced.

This is a move that will see the Show Grounds upgraded into modern facilities to meet international standards.

FC Muza Executive Director, Keith Mweemba disclosed that the stadium will have a new playing turf, training pitches, security wire fence of the pitch, the dressing room, modern sitting terraces, a car park, a gym and a swimming pool.

Mweemba has since thanked Cowley and other stakeholders for supporting the project.

And project Manager, Devan Clive Cowley, says the works are scheduled to be completed by July 2022.He adds that facility will be of international standards and will enhance sports development in the district.

Muza play in the second tier of Zambian football.

Striker Emmanuel Manda and defender Crawford Mwaba are on loan at Zanaco and Nkwazi respectively from Muza.
