ConCourt Update: Respondent Lawyers Draw First Blood In Round 4

The Constitutional Court had the first real slice of action when the respondents had the chance to have their say against the petition against their client.

With the Presidential petition entering Day Four it has been becoming routine with adjournments over procedural matters but there was some movement when the respondents asked the court to strike off some grounds on the action for either having been wrongly brought before the court or being out rightly inadmissible.

The opposition United Party for National Development is challenging the election of President Edgar Lungu as President.
