COMMUNICATION TOWERS ERECTED

By Martha Banda:Transport and Communication Permanent Secretary, Misheck Lungu says the communication towers erected in Itezhi-Tezhi, Central province, will soon be operational.Mr Lungu says the towers are not operating due to delayed delivery of equipment.This comes after Chieftainess Muwenza raised concerns over the non-operational communication towers, when Chiefs and Traditional Affairs Minister, Lawrence Sichalwe visited the area.The Traditional Leader said lack of mobile phone network in her chiefdom and other villages has affected communication.
