COMMONWEALTH GAMES: ZAMBIAN BOXERS AIM FOR MEDALS

Zambia National Boxing Coach WISDOM MUDENDA says his boxers have what it takes to reap medals at the Commonwealth Games in England.

MUDENDA has told ZNBC News in an interview in Warwick-England that his target is to win medals.

He says his boxers are not at the Commonwealth Games to just participate but compete for medals.

MUDENDA added that all the four boxers who include PATRICK CHINYEMBA, STEPHEN ZIMBA, MARGRET TEMBO and FELISTUS NKANDU are physically and mentally ready to fight.

Meanwhile, Judo Coach MOLA LIPIMILE says the Judokas are fit and ready to take on any opponent.

LIPIMILE added that the five Judokas have under gone intensive training the past months.

The five Judokas are RITA KABINDA, SIMON ZULU, STEVEN MUNGANDU, TAONGA SOKO and MATHEWS MWANGO.
