CLEMENT TEMBO LUNCHES KABWATA SEAT BID

The Patriotic Front PF Kabwata Constituency Executive Committee has urged aspiring candidates for the parliamentary seat to mobilize the party by centering their campaign messages on President Edgar Lungu.

Kabwata Constituency Chairperson Trevor Ng’andu has also emphasised that the party has NOT yet adopted a candidate to contest as Member of Parliament.

Mr. Ng’andu says the executive committee has however given a go ahead to all aspiring candidates to campaign under PF, but warned them not to speak ill against each other.

He was speaking when the executive committee accepted Clement Tembo’s request to aspire for the parliamentary seat in Lusaka today.

Meanwhile Mr. Ng’andu warned that there is no amount of money that can convince the executive committee to make recommendations in favor of a particular candidate.

And Mr. Tembo who is also Presidential Empowerment Initiative Fund National Coordinator said he will base his campaign on love and President Lungu.

Mr. Tembo also requested the executive committee to ensure that they pick a candidate that is strong and popular on the ground.

The PF Kabwata aspiring candidate has also apologized to area MP Given Lubinda for any previous difference the two encountered.
