Clatous Chama named Man of the Match in Berkane win

Zambia’s export to North Africa, Clatous Chota Chama was named man of the match in RSB Berkane’s 4-1 demolition of Youssoufia Berrechid in the Moroccan Botola Pro League played on Wednesday.

Making his 9th league appearance for his new club, the Zambian finally showed why Berkane priced him away from Tanzanian giants Simba with an impressive performance.

Berkane scored scored all the four goals in the second through Youssef Zghoudi, Tuisila Kisinda , Youssef Alfahli and Hamza Regragui.

They are now fourth on the log with 23 points, 12 behind leaders Wydad Casablanca.

Chama has had a slow start in Morocco but this performance will give him confidence.

‘Mwamba Wa Lusaka’ or the ‘Rock of Lusaka’ as he was called in East Africa will be returning to his old club in February 2022 after Berkane was drawn with Simba, National George and Asec Mimosa in the CAF Confederations Cup.
