City Ya Moto White Coaches Must Go Back To Italy-Ngawa…City must recall Hector Chilombo to avoid relegation

Relegated bound City of Lusaka ex- player, Desmond Ngawa has  launched a vicious attack against two Italian Coaches, Roberto Landi and Guiseppe Macca calling for their dismissal for failing to ignite  City Ya Moto to glory.

Ngawa wants the Italians to exit Woodlands Stadium of  because they have failed to turn tables around for the club that scored a lot of success in the 70s.

Appearing on Zambian National Broadcasting Corporation(ZNBC) Talking Football Program Anchored by Herbert Mutabi, Ngawa said there is no way that the Italian Coaches can remain at Woodlands Stadium because their tactical approach has failed to yield results at City.

” The Italian Coach and his assistants must leave City of Lusaka. Let them just pack their bags and go back to Italy because they seem not to know what to do. How can they use a left defender as a left winger? There tactics are failing us. I have been in football circles for a very long time, so I know what I am talking about,” he complained.

Ngawa wonders why fans are not protesting against the Italians when they played a major role in Hector Chilombo and Davy Musole’s dismissal.

“Sponsored fans where always insulting Hector Chilombo and his assistant Davy Musole when things were not going right but the same fans are mute when the Muzungus are  misfiring. What kind of double standards are these?” he asked.

Ngawa said the expatriate coaches must be replaced to return the lost glory at Woodlands Stadium.

“A lot have gone bad at City. Those ba  Muzungus must just go. Maybe it would be better to return Hector as our head coach. Even you Dazzle(Mutabi) can make a good coach at Woodlands Stadium. That club has a lot of history. I mean go to Chilenje and Woodlands people only talk about City when it comes to Zambian football,” Ngawa said.

He said  Italian Coaches blundered when they    declared over 6 players surplus to requirement and laid them off without finding replacement.

He said City of Lusaka currently has 16 players instead of 25.

Ngawa disclosed that t

last week they had to call Lutambo from injury to make up numbers on the bench, the situation he described as unfortunate.

“Those Italians said they were going to bring  players from Italy  after relieving 6 or 7 players but up to now, nothing is happening. We had great hopes in those guys but they have proved to be failures,” Ngawa said
