The Lusaka Province PF presidential campaign team says Chirundu District has undergone massive infrastructure development under President Edgar Lungu’s leadership.
Team member Kennedy Kamba says the area will experience even more development if the electorate there vote for the PF candidates in the August 12 general election.
Mr. Kamba says President Lungu’s government has transformed the economic fortunes of Chirundu and will do even more with elected PF officials in office.
Mr. Kamba who is also PF Lusaka Province Chairman was speaking in Chirundu when he and the Lusaka PF presidential campaign team conducted door to door campaigns and meetings in six wards in the district.
And former Chawama MP Lawrence Sichalwe said the party officials are aware of the challenges such as water and sanitation that people in the area are facing.
Mr. Sichalwe said President Lungu will find it easier to work with PF elected officials to deliver development than having opposition representatives who are always unwilling to engage government on people’s welfare.
The Lusaka Province Presidential campaign team is on mobilisation exercise of party structures in all the districts in the province.
