CHIPOLOPOLO URGED TO WORK HARD – VEEP

By Chansa Kunda:

Vice President W. K Mutale Nalumango has implored the Chipolopolo to finish their 2022 Qatar World Cup Qualifiers on a positive note.

The Vice President says the players should ensure they work hard as they face Mauritania and Tunisia in their final group B fixtures.

The Vice President told ZNBC Sports News in an interview that a good performance from the Zambia men’s Football team is always a remedy to the country, the more reason why they should win both encounters.

She said despite the team losing out on the opportunity to challenge for a spot at the 2022 Qatar showpiece, the team should not be discouraged but endeavour to qualify for future competitions.

The Vice President further urged the players to put God at the center of the games if they are to emerge victorious.

Zambia hosts Mauritania on November 13, 2021 at the National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka before the final group B match away to Tunisia three days later.

Meanwhile, the Confederation of African Football -CAF- has allowed 30-thousand spectators for Zambia’s second leg tie against Mauritania.
