Chipolopolo Take On Gambia In International Friendly Tonight

Chipolopolo Under-23The Chipolopolo boys will have their second international friendly match against Gambia on their West Africa tour ahead of Saturday’s 2017 Gabon Africa Cup qualifier against Guinea Bissau.

George Lwandamina’s lads lost 1-0 to Togo on Friday but will have a chance to make amends against Gambia.

Lwandamina will have a full complement of players with skipper Rainford Kalaba, Kennedy Mweene and Chisamba Lungu coming to the party after having watched the Togo match from the stands having arrived late in Lome.

Winstone Kalengo and Collins Mbesuma will lead the attack with Christopher Katongo and Lubambo Musonda adding to the firepower from the wings.

Kalaba will add fluidity to the team in midfield while Stoppilla Sunzu will be partnered with Buchizya Mfune at the back.

The Chipolopolo boys lie third in Group E tied with Congo Brazzaville who despite having six points enjoys a superior goal difference.

Guinea Bissau leads the pack on seven points while Kenya are at the foot of the table with one point.
