Chipolopolo regroup ahead of World Cup qualifier

The Zambia Men’s football team has regrouped in Ndola with over 10 foreign based players already in camp ahead of the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.

Players LUBAMBO MUSONDA, KLINGS KANGWA, FASHION SAKALA, RODERICK KABWE and LAMECK BANDA have reported for duty.

Others who have joined the team are Simba Sport Club Midfielder CLATOUS CHAMA, RALLY BWALYA, BENSON SAKALA, EDWARD CHILUFYA and STOPPILA SUNZU.

More players are expected to join the team tomorrow in preparation for Friday first leg encounter against Congo BRAZZAVILLE.

Football Association of Zambia -FAZ- Communications Manager SYDNEY MUNGALA told ZNBC News that Chipolopolo Coach AVRAM GRANT has also made two changes to the team bringing in Israel based defender GIFT MPHANDE and ANDREW PHIRI from MUZA FC replacing those injured.

And MUNGALA has since called  on fans to turn up in numbers as their presence will be key in helping the team record victory on Friday.
