Chipolopolo Move 3 Rungs Up On FIFA Ranking

Zambia has moved three rungs up the Coca-Cola FIFA rankings from 94 to 91, according to the latest release.

The Chipolopolo may have benefitted from their away draw to Cameroun in the Group B World Cup qualifier a fortnight ago and a 1-0 away win to Uganda in an international friendly.

Zambia’s Group B opponents Algeria occupy 38th position with Cameroun on 65th while Nigeria is 50th in the world.

The Teranga Lions rank highest on the African continent and are 33rd in the world while Argentina lead the global rankings.
