Chipolopolo falter

Chansa Kunda-Benin has beaten the Zambian National Soccer Team 2 -1n in their second international friendly game played at the Mardan Sports Complex Stadium in Turkey.

Benin came from a goal down to salvage their image at the hands of the Chipolopolo who were first to net in goal .

Talisman Midfielder KELVIN KAMPAMBA put Zambia in the lead 22 minutes into the first half before CEBIO SOKOU struck in the 35th minute to put Benin level.
The half time mark saw both teams end on one all footing.

With the withdraw of Captain ENOCK MWEPU and RODRICK KABWE who were replaced by PRINCE MUMBA and EMMANUEL BANDA the Chipolopolo kept prepping on goal as some clear chances failed to materialize into goals .
While scouting for a breakthrough, heavens opened in the 85th minute for Benin courtesy of CHIBOZO ANGE who slotted in the winning goal.

2-1 was the final scorline has the team suffered a setback following the 3-1 victory over Congo Brazzaville on Friday.

And Chipolopolo Coach AIJOSA ASANOVIC has expressed disappointment with the result.
ASANOVIC however said that he is gratified with the teams display from the onset to the end of the game.

ASANOVIC has also expressed satisfaction with new Chipolopolo entries FRANKIE MUSONDA, AIME MABIKA who made their debut for the national team .

He has further implored football fans to rally behind the team as they endeavor to Zambia back on the continent.
And Football Analyst MUSONDA CHIBULU said the team should be given a benefit of doubt as they are still in the molding phase .

CHIBULU further said the team is showing sparks of life adding that they need a lot of exposure ahead to the AFCON qualifiers.
