Chipenzi Threatens to Sue FODEP Over Unpaid Dues

Former Foundation for Democratic Foundation (FODEP) McDonald Chipenzi has turned the heat on his former employers by threatening legal action for unpaid separation package.

Chipenzi was shown the door after he decided to contest elections on the UPND ticket in Chirundu was promised a decent separation package but FODEP has not honoured its promise.

The self- proclaimed electoral expert now heads another Non-Governmental Organization dubbed GEARS.

Chipenzi, who is now GEARS, Executive Director, lost his Job at FODEP when he opted to contest as the 2016 general elections on the UPND Ticket in Chirundi Constituency but he did not manage to win the primaries.

Below is his full note:

Sometimes, you are stretched to the limit in terms of the extent to which your former employers can violate your rights, national laws and pretend they are still human rights defenders and credible.

Since 2016 when I was forced out this organisation and promised to be paid my dues, nothing is happening but lies after lies.

I have patiently waited and made numerous follow ups on my dues but there is a selfish ego within this organisation to bring the name of this organisation into further public disrepute after issues of donor money fraud allegations.

If by the close of this month nothing happens to pay my dues, I will have no option but to drag this organization to the courts of law for redress.

Enough lies have been said. Lies, dishonest, pretence, and insincerity have a limit but not with this organization, the above have become its DNA.

Let no one blame me for this action am taking of dragging this ungrateful bunch of dishonest people to the courts of law.

And hope they have the money to pay me for the years they have been lying to me.

Thanks
