CHILONGA NURSING SCHOOL GUTTED

By ZANIS:Chilonga School of Nursing and Midwifery in Mpika District has been partially gutted.This is the second time in two years that the health learning institution has been gutted in similar circumstances.ZANIS reports that in the latest fire accident that occurred yesterday, personal belongings for six students were burnt to ashes in one room.Muchinga Province Permanent Secretary Joyce Nsamba who rushed to the scene expressed displeasure with the continued loss of property at the learning institution through fire.Meanwhile, Chilonga School of Nursing Medical Superintendent, Jean Kalingayi has appealed to well-wishers to come to the aid of the school, stating that the fire was an accident that could not be avoided.In 2016, part of the hostels at Chilonga school of nursing were completely gutted by fire following an electrical fault.
