Child mothers narrate ordeals

THREE Grade 10 pupils at Katuta Secondary School in Luwingu rescued from early marriages have advised parents against marrying off their children at a tender age.
The girls have called on parents to ensure they allow young girls to complete their education for them to have a bright future.
Elizabeth Kaoma, Mary Mutale and Cecilia Mpundu said in an interview on Thursday that marriage is full of hardships that young people cannot cope with.
The girls, who suffered at the hands of their husbands, were retrieved from their marriages last year by the Non-Governmental Organisations Co-ordinating Council (NGOCC) and have since been sponsored back to school.
