CHIEF NKANA SPEAKS FOR WOMEN

Chief Nkana of the Lamba speaking people in Lufwanyama district has urged government and civil society organisations to remain steadfast in promoting women’s rights.

The traditional leader says women are the most vulnerable hence the need to be assisted.

Chief Nkana said this when he invited Oxfarm and Zambia Alliance of women at his Palace where he officially allowed them to help sensitise women on their rights in his chiefdom.

Meanwhile Oxfarm head of business services Joseph Yondela thanked the chief for   welcoming them to conduct their programme in his chiefdom.
