CHIEF CHITOSHI ENCOURAGES ECL

Chief Chitoshi of the Lungu people of Lunte district has encouraged President Edgar Lungu and his government to continue with the current development agenda.

The Chief says the PF government has brought unprecedented development especially to rural areas where he says many lives have changed for the better.

The Traditional leader says he always finds it strange for those that say there is no development in the country when new infrastructure such as Schools, hospitals and roads have been constructed.

He has since assured the President that he is more than welcome in the area because of his works.

Meanwhile, the Chief says he admires President Lungu’s love for God and the Church saying this has helped the country to remain united.

Chief Chitoshi said this when National Guidance and Religious Affairs Minister Godfridah Sumaili paid a courtesy call on him at his palace before she addressed the Clergy, Headmen and Women in the area.

And Reverend Sumaili assured the Chief and the people of Lunte that President Lungu will continue to rule the country on biblical principles.

She said the President’s wish is to make the bond between the government and the Church stronger for the benefit of Zambians.
